The author of the attacks on the "SHOR" Party is Maia Sandu, and the executors of the plan to arrest and open criminal cases against the party's representatives are the Minister of Justice, Sergiu Litvinenco, the Chairman of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Dorel Musteata and the acting head of the Investigation Department of the National Anti-Corruption Centre, Eugen Rurac. The statement comes from the leader of the "SHOR" Party, Ilan Shor, in a video address. According to him, the attacks on the "SHOR" Party, planned for the beginning of this week, have been postponed for a few days, after Ilan Shor announced about their plans.
„After the representatives of the "SHOR" Party announced last Friday that they will not submit to blackmail and will not stop criticizing the government and defending the interests of the people, the Presidency gave the indication to search the party's headquarters and to open criminal cases against the members and leadership of the "SHOR" Party. Last Friday, a meeting was held, attended by Sergiu Litvinenco, Dorel Musteata and Eugen Rurac. The meeting decided on the plan to attack the "SHOR" Party. Litvinenco gave the indication to implement this plan”, stated Ilan Shor.
According to the leader of the "SHOR" Party, the motivation of each of them is different, but all of them would benefit if the operation, which would be set up by the government against the "SHOR" Party, would be successful. Shor claims that Rurac has been entrusted with the task of initiating criminal cases, "drawing" all sorts of unfounded accusations, and that Musteata has taken it upon himself to give all those who will be detained 30 days in prison.
„Musteata's brother is under criminal investigation and it is a priority for him to get him out of prison. The motivation of Eugen Rurac, who, as everyone already knows, is an alcoholic, is to rehabilitate his image in front of Maia Sandu and become deputy director of the National Anti-Corruption Centre. And if the operation against the "SHOR" Party succeeds, this position will fall to him. Rurac has been entrusted with the task of starting criminal cases, drawing all kinds of unfounded accusations, Musteata has taken the responsibility to give all those who will be detained 30 days of detention. We all know that Musteata is a friend of the acting head of the Chisinau Court of Appeal, Anatol Minciuna, being one of Musteata's disciples and is ready to fulfill any of his wishes”, added Ilan Shor.
The leader of the "SHOR" party also said that the party's representatives will not surrender to pressure and blackmail, and all those involved in this case will not go unpunished.
„This is what independent justice looks like in our country and the good times promised by PAS. My friends, all these deeds will not go unpunished, and the recent history of the Republic of Moldova shows that all those who started political cases on command ended up in jail. So, guys, get your suitcases ready, the same fate awaits you. My dear people, the "SHOR" Party will not give up the fight and we will not be silent, and you, scoundrels, we will drive you out of power. Your proposal to cease the protests and to stop criticising you is once again rejected. You will see this from us when you will see the back of your heads without a mirror. We're not afraid of you and we will defeat you”, concluded Ilan Shor.
