The government is running a circus, we will help people. The chairman of the "SHOR" Party, Ilan Shor, announces, starting Monday, big discounts on essential food supplies in "Merisor" social shops. The statement was made in a video address and comes in response to the government's inability to curb inflation and the effects of the crisis.
„While the government is running a circus, we will help citizens. Our priority is that people can have food. Today, people's biggest problem is the lack of money to buy food. That's why, following negotiations with representatives of the "Merișor" social shops, we were able to reduce the prices of several basic food supplies. Thus, from Monday, a litre of milk will cost 11 lei and 90 bani, 500 g of sour cream will cost 14 lei, a kg of salami will cost 79.9 lei, corn flour will cost 13.9 lei, a kg of oat biscuits - 35 lei and 50 bani, and social bread will cost 2 lei”, announced Ilan Shor.
Shor added that prices will be at least 15 percent and even up to 100 percent lower than in other shops.
„Starting with Monday, the nearly 500,000 holders of the "Merișor" cards will have access to these discounts. If the government spits on people's problems, we won't, because we are responsible. Soon, we will implement large social projects in localities across the country. We will repay people's trust”, added Ilan Shor.
